Are you in business to make money? Of course you are. Even though this is your purpose for being in business, put the money on the back burner for a short while. Instead, concentrate on what you have to do to make the money.
Never start a blog with only money on your mind. You will not succeed, and this is a guarantee. Blogging for money is not your sole reason for doing it. Your first concern is good content, or good conversation. Don’t think for one minute that I’m making you move backwards, because I’m not. Let me show you how this works.
Show readers that you blog with passion and they will see it
It’s simple. Talk to your readers about something you love.
There’s stuff that interests you. You want to share this information with others. Chances are, what interests you, will also interest many other readers. That’s the attitude you must have to be a successful blogger.
Always blog about something you are passionate about. No passion about what you are writing will turn your readers away in a matter of minutes. On the flip side, passion in your blog will generate passion among your readers. The result will be, more visits, more shares, more likes, more follows and definitely more clicks. This is like a rolling snowball. Once it starts rolling, it keeps on going, stronger and stronger.
Some good topics for blogging are, sports, food, entertainment, relationships, running a business, photography, music, movies, landscaping, arts and crafts, and millions of other topics. Blog about politics. This seems to be the hot topic today. Don’t worry about pissing people off. Isn’t being pissed off a form of passion? People might get angry. So what? Angry people always come back for more.
Keep doing this. Do it right, and you will generate so much traffic to your web site that you won’t be able to keep up with it. When this happens, you will be in a better position to monetize your web site. Show passion, get your readers aroused, and they will buy, I promise you.
Start doing this right away. I’ll see you next time. Until then, HAPPY BLOGGING!
