Over the years, we’ve created a few simple tools to help people improve their financial situation and avoid common mistakes. These are optional resources I personally created and stand behind.
SurfSideSafe is a larger project I’ve been building alongside CharlesMoney — a people-first social platform focused on privacy, creativity, and real connection. While CharlesMoney focuses on financial clarity, SurfSideSafe represents the bigger picture of building something meaningful and independent on the web.

There comes a point in life when you realize something important:
Chasing everything rarely leads to anything lasting.
We’re told to chase money,
Chase followers,
Chase attention, and
Chase success.
But there’s a problem with chasing.
It keeps you running without direction.
For a long time, I thought progress meant always looking for the next big thing.
✅ The next opportunity
✅ The next shortcut
✅ The next way to get ahead faster
Eventually, I learned something different.
Real progress often begins when you stop chasing and start building.
Building is slower.
Building is quieter.
Building doesn’t always get noticed right away.
But building creates something real.
When you build something meaningful, you stop comparing yourself to other people.
You stop worrying about what others are doing.
You start focusing on your own path.
Some people build businesses.
Some build blogs.
Some build tools that help others.
Some build communities.
The specific thing doesn’t matter as much as the mindset behind it.
When you build with purpose, the right people begin to find you.
Not everyone — just the ones who connect with what you’re creating.
That’s the shift.
Instead of asking,
“How do I get attention?”
You start asking,
“How do I create something worth noticing?”
That one question changes everything.
It removes pressure.
It removes desperation.
It replaces them with direction.
In today’s online world, it’s easy to feel like you need to be everywhere.
Every platform.
Every trend.
Every opportunity.
But the people who make steady progress usually focus on building something specific, and real over time.
They show up consistently.
They create thoughtfully.
They build with patience.
And slowly, things start to change.
🔹 Opportunities appear
🔹 Connections happen
🔹 Momentum grows
But these changes don’t happen all at once.
They happen little by little, but, they do happen.
If things feel slow right now, that’s not an indication that nothing is happening.
It may just mean you’re in the building stage.
And the building stage matters more than people realize.
🔹 Keep building
🔹 Keep creating
🔹 Keep moving forward
The moment you stop chasing everything...
Is often the moment things finally start finding you.
And always, Remember! At CharlesMoney, we are here to help you succeed.
